Our Mission

The Browning Kimball Foundation is a grant making, non-operating foundation with a focus on supporting communities in central Montana. The directors of the Foundation are committed to supporting sustainable, efficient, charitable organizations in the following issue areas:

Agriculture, and the farmers and ranchers who work in agriculture are vital to the long-term success of America's economy and civil society. To that end the Foundation supports organizations that: advocate, promote and sustain the agricultural industry and educate the American public about the U.S. food supply.

The Foundation supports organizations that: offer access to rehabilitation and therapeutic services; provide mental and emotional counseling; and emergency medical services.

The Foundation provides economic support for art and cultural programs in central Montana, including museums or organizations that preserve the history, culture and diversity of Montana.

The Foundation provides economic support to organizations that serve youth in rural communities by providing after-school and mentorship programs and assisting with educational development.
